Natale's Summit Bakery: A Review of Summit's Favorite Bakery

I had ordered a cake back in October for my birthday and had a wonderful experience with Natales! Really delicious and beautifully decorated for the event, very pleasantly surprised at how adorable everything came out and they had mixed the colors perfectly and stayed true to my inspo pics :) Overall would recommend!!

This has been my family’s favorite bakery — my in-laws have been going for decades for birthday cakes and holiday treats and it never disappoints!!! Natales has some of the best pastries I’ve ever had - we love the petit fours and they have the most adorable themes (I found a throwback photo from last Halloween!) My kids are huge fans of the cupcakes and M&M cookies and I can’t leave without a pecan bar or chocolate horn…huge CHEF KISS to Natale’s for keep our taste buds and hearts happy!!!!

Made an online order for two pies and they turned out great! The pies were tasty and fresh, and they were ready for pickup at the time and day I requested. Would definitely recommend checking them out for pastries and desserts!

What a great experience here! Ive heard many great reviews from this bakery. I ordered my father's birthday cake (canoli cake). He's an Italian from Queens NY and he approved and loved the cake! Very light and such great flavor, not artificial tasting at all! We will definitely be ordering from here on out for events and pastries, I highly recommend!

A hidden gem location wise, but when you walk into the bakery, it's truly devine!! Immediately as you step in the door, heavenly smells volunterly float into your nostrils. Please be prepared for a line. It's worth the wait. For my daughter's 14th laser tag birthday party, the bakery took our last-minute request. They were extremely patient, helpful, and even took the extra time to help us come up with the concept for our cake and cupcakes. Butter cream icing was plentiful, they had a variety of fillings to offer, and the cake itself was moist and light. I will definitely come back to this bakery again.

Great bakery!!! I highly recommend! Checking it out! My husband and I chose Natale's Bakery for our son Baptismal, work parties/ church, and family gatherings. Also a shout to Paul- the owner- a Rockstar- A very professional & pleasnt person! Everyone already knows that Natale's has created perfection for nearly a century, so they don't really need me to say that here on Google; HOWEVER, I'd like to use my review to commend a patient and professional young man named Matthew. I asked him about ten questions and he was just so friendly and helpful. Matthew is a great representation of the fact that, of course Natale's is maybe the best bakery in New Jersey (people come from hours away for the trademark Philly Fluff Cake), but he and the rest of the young people behind the counter, such as Atraiu, make it an even more welcoming enviroment!!!

Update: The owner Patty contacted me and apologized for the mishandling of our birthday cake and the Thanksgiving fiasco. She committed to making things right and as far as we’re concerned ahead has done that! On Wednesday November 22nd, the bakery opened its doors over 1/2 late. Many including myself had been waiting over 40 minutes. They didn’t even have the decency to alert us that they were late setting up. One would think that reasonable people would have the decency to alert us since it was cold and rainy. Even after finally being let in, no apologies, no nothing just rude attitudes towards us. They had also messed up my birthday cake last month, even though they confirmed 3 times that they could make a Sicilian Cassada, instead they made us a cannoli cake, very different. When I tried bringing that up, I was shot down immediately. I have given them an opportunity to respond and make things right but what I’m seeing is arrogance and greediness, it’s all about the dollars and not patrons at all. Their baked goods are very good unfortunately not worth dealing with their lack of respect and arrogance. ***Buyers beware!
